A strong doctor-patient relationship is the foundation for high-quality patient care and reducing health care costs. Dr. Leon and his staff have implemented a telemedicine portal to support, not replace, certain traditional in-office consultations. Using this portal allows Dr. Leon to offer remote consultations for follow up visits, check-ups, prescription refills, and more when appropriate.

  • What is Telemedicine?

    Telemedicine is the use of telecommunications technology to provide real-time health care to patients from the convenience of their home. These virtual visits are in place of a traditional visit to the clinic.

  • How is Telemedicine Delivered?

    Telemedicine can be delivered using video-conferencing, audio communication, and/or text-messaging using mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers.

  • What can telemedicine be used for?
